Wavey Lester's Profile

Wavey Lester is a military veteran and entrepreneur running for State Senate to represent the 57th District.  While people are fleeing Illinois, Wavey believes there is still hope for the state, but feels someone has to step up and fight to make a difference if we are to save the state. 

At age 18, Wavey joined the US Navy and within 3 years he obtained acceptance in an officer commissioning program. He later attended Louisiana State University where he studied, participated in ROTC, and worked his way through college to earn his Bachelors degree. After graduation, he took his commission to proudly begin serving as an officer in the US Air Force.
